"I am very pleased that our diaspora organizations operating abroad constantly contact Azerbaijan. Coordination between diaspora organizations operating in different countries is also improving. This is also very important," President Ilham Aliyev told the 5th Congress of World Azerbaijanis in Shusha, Report informs.

The head of state said: "Of course, we all want Azerbaijanis living abroad to be closely connected with their historical homeland. It would be great if every Azerbaijani came to Azerbaijan with his family at least once a year, especially to go to the liberated lands. Today we are holding the congress in Shusha. The liberated areas are more than ten thousand square kilometres, and now routes are being opened, and airports are being built. Therefore, the visits to these territories will be very comfortable."
