With the financial support of the State Committee on Work with Diaspora, 22 Azerbaijani citizens who could not return home from Belarus since April 6 due to the coronavirus lockdown have been accommodated in hotels.
The stranded citizens appealed to the Committee for the second time in connection with the expiry of their stay. Therefore, their stay in hotels was extended, and the Committee will cover all the expenses until April 30.
Most of the 22 people are those who traveled to Minsk from different countries to return to Azerbaijan.
Due to the threat of coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, Azerbaijan has completely suspended access to the country's territory by land and air, except for cargo transportation.
