There are also Azerbaijani, and Turkish nationals among the people infected with COVID-19 infection in the US, Tulga Tekman, the head of the Federation of Turkish American Associations (FTAA) told Report.

According to him, deaths are higher in mainly four provinces, including Paterson, New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania, where Turkish nationals mostly settled in.

"Most Azerbaijanis living in the US are working with Turkish people, and therefore, they have also settled in the same areas. I know several Azerbaijanis who contracted the coronavirus, and they continue their treatment. The number of deaths is growing." - he said.

According to Tekman, Turkish Airlines's freighters carry many of the bodies to Turkey.
