Azerbaijan may create coordination board in Russia

On the initiative of the State Committee on Work with the Diaspora, leaders, and representatives of the Azerbaijani diaspora in Moscow and other regions of Russia held a videoconference.
The attendees highlighted the need to open new consulates in Russia’s regions, create coordination councils of Azerbaijanis in federal districts, and exchanged views on other issues, the state Committee told Report.
The diaspora representatives also discussed the problems faced by the Azerbaijani citizens during the pandemic. The diaspora leaders called on the compatriots not to leave their permanent or temporary residences and not to gather on the Russian-Azerbaijani border until the borders are opened.
