Organizations joined Azerbaijan's Peace4culture campaign named

"The UN Alliance of Civilizations and ICESCO have joined Azerbaijan's "Peace4culture" campaign. We learned today that other organizations are also interested in the campaign. In particular, the International Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation wants to join this campaign," Azerbaijani Culture Minister Anar Karimov told journalists, Report informs.

The minister said that the initiative's purpose is to ensure lasting peace for the revival and preservation of culture after post-conflict situations.

"Where there is lasting peace, there is sustainable development. Culture revives and develops there. This is exactly what we want in Karabakh. Three international organizations already support the initiative. President Ilham Aliyev also strongly supports this idea. Funds have also been allocated for the realization of this idea. Now our plan is to develop a 5-year action plan with partner organizations. We want to make this idea a reality in 5 years, not to keep it on paper," Karimov added.
