The statue of the well-known Azerbaijani poetess Khurshidbanu Natevan in Evian-le-Bain, France, was taken to the Azerbaijan Cultural Center in Paris on March 4, Report informs.
Natevan's statue is already in the Cultural Center under the Embassy of Azerbaijan in France, and the work on its erection in the garden of the Center is ongoing.
According to the information, when the statue was removed, the cover was opened, and it was found that in addition to red paint being thrown on it, it was also damaged (the statue's nose and fingers were broken).
