Türkiye's education minister calls for nurturing environmental responsibility in children

Education plays a crucial role in protecting nature and human rights, according to Türkiye's Minister of Education, Yusuf Tekin.

Report informs that, speaking to journalists at the COP29 conference, Tekin emphasized the importance of instilling a sense of responsibility towards the environment in the younger generation.

"In the traditions of Turkish statehood, people are accountable for the state of the environment," Tekin stated. "We want to raise our children with this culture and consciousness. Education plays a vital role in this regard. Through education, these obligations and traditions can be passed on to future generations."
