Samoan minister: Global warming can lead to severe consequences

The number of natural disasters is increasing, Cedric Schuster Toeolesulusulu, Natural Resources and Environment Minister of Samoa, said during his speech at the Small Island Developing States (SIDS) Summit held within COP29 in Baku on November 13, Report informs.

The Samoan minister stressed that the climate change affects everyone:

"Global warming is afvancing. In this case, what measures should we take to prevent such situations? We need to keep in mind that these situations can lead to severe consequences."
