2024 hottest year on record, Nabeel Munir says

Nabeel Munir, Chair of the UNFCCC’s Subsidiary Body for Implementation (SBI), has said that the world is currently experiencing the hottest year in history, Report informs.
Munir made this statement at the Pre-COP29 event, themed “Enhance Ambition and Enable Action.”
He noted that glaciers are melting as a result of the heat.
Munir stated that there is a need to take bold steps and build bridges:
"Only in this way can we solve the problems".
