Mukhtar Babayev: Improving legislation to help reduce effects of climate change

Improving the legislative framework, control, and responsible approach will help reduce the negative consequences of climate change, COP29 president, Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of Azerbaijan Mukhtar Babayev said at the Parliamentary Meeting in the Green Zone of COP29, Report informs.

He noted that parliaments play a key role in implementing decisions aimed at combating climate change.
