Marina Silva: For COP30 to be success, efforts must be united at COP29 in Baku

In order to successfully hold the conference in Brazil, it is necessary to come to a final agreement and join efforts at COP29 in Baku, despite all the difficulties we have encountered during the discussions, Minister of Environment and Climate Change of Brazil Marina Silva said at the final plenary session of COP29, Report informs.

“Our main task here in Azerbaijan is to ensure sufficient resources, financial support and implementation mechanisms to achieve the “Mission 1.5” goal. Before COP30, we must ensure that the Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs) are ambitious enough to achieve this mission,” she noted.
