Expert: COP29 in Azerbaijan - strategic initiative in solving global problems

By having hosted the Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29), Azerbaijan, a fossil fuel producer and exporter, demonstrates the government’s strategy to take serious action on climate change, Pakistani analyst and expert on Central Asia Muhammad Ali Pasha told Report.

“The envisioned COP29 holds the promise of being more than a conference centered on discourse; it aspires to be a forum where decisive decisions are made and concerted actions are taken.
