COP29 official: ‘We are ready to receive visitors’

Azerbaijan is ready to receive visitors in connection with the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29), Narmin Jarchalova, the chairperson of the Board of Directors of the COP29 Operating Company, said at the first press conference held at the COP29 headquarters, Report informs.

"Azerbaijan has submitted its intention to host this event, taking into account its potential. In February, we accepted the fact-finding mission of the UN in Azerbaijan. They conducted research on hotel and accommodation possibilities and highly evaluated our capabilities. Currently, the mission is conducting an analysis," she added.
