COP29 chair, Kazakh envoy mull preparations for conference

President of the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29), Azerbaijan’s Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources Mukhtar Babayev has discussed preparations for COP29 with Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Azerbaijan Alim Bayel, Report informs referring to the ministry.

At the meeting, environmental issues and opportunities for future cooperation between the two countries were discussed, as well as an exchange of views on preparations for COP29, which will be held in Azerbaijan this year.
