Azerbaijani Ecology Minister explores preparations for COP-29 with Ambassador of Tajikistan

A meeting was held between the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan to the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilkhom Abdurakhmon and the Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources Mukhtar Babayev, Report informs.

During the meeting, discussions were held on the potential for future collaboration between the two nations in environmental protection. Additionally, there was an exchange of perspectives regarding the preparations for the upcoming 29th session of the Conference of the Parties (COP29) to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change, which Azerbaijan is set to host this year.
