Azerbaijan's ecology minister meets Czech ambassador ahead of COP29

Azerbaijan's Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources, Mukhtar Babayev, and the Czech Ambassador to Azerbaijan, Milan Sedlacek, recently met to discuss preparations for COP29.
The meeting, as reported by the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, also focused on environmental protection and potential future collaboration between the two nations.
COP29 is set to take place in Baku, the capital city of Azerbaijan, in November 2023. The decision to host the conference in Baku was made during the plenary session of COP28 held in Dubai on December 11, 2023. Azerbaijan is expected to welcome approximately 70,000 to 80,000 international guests for this significant event.
