Azerbaijan, IEA explore investment opportunities in green energy transition

Azerbaijan's Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources Mukhtar Babayev and Fatih Birol, Executive Director of the International Energy Agency (IEA), have discussed ways to attract investments in green energy transition with, Report informs, citing the COP29 Presidency.

The meeting took place within the framework of the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland.

The parties discussed important stages of the energy transition, including the implementation of agreements reached at COP29 in Baku, as well as ways to attract additional investments for the transition to clean energy.
