Volume of cargo transportation by road up by 9% in Azerbaijan

In 2023, 5,425,200 tons (9% more year-on-year) of cargo worth $12.097 billion (15% more YoY) were transported by road in Azerbaijan, Report informs, citing the State Customs Committee.

In the reporting period, the exports by road amounted to 2,027,000 million tons (6% more YoY) worth $1.828 billion (3% more YoY), while imports made up 3,398,200 tons (10% more YoY) worth $10.269 billion (18% more YoY).
