Uzbekistan and Turkey plan to carry out transportations from China through Azerbaijan

Uzbekistan’s Ministry of Investment and Foreign Trade and Turkish Railways OJSC reached an agreement to carry out multimodal transportations via Turkey-Georgia-Azerbaijan-Turkmenistan-Uzbekistan-China route, Report informs citing the press service of Uzbekistan’s Ministry of Investment and Foreign Trade.

The shortest way to connect the European railways with the Asian railways is Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway.
