The United States-Azerbaijan Chamber of Commerce (USACC) plans to organize one official trade mission of American companies to Azerbaijan and one official agricultural trade mission of Azerbaijani companies to the United States in 2022, USACC told Report.
“As the global pandemic hit last year, we had to postpone one certified trade mission of American companies to Azerbaijan and one agricultural trade mission of Azerbaijani companies to the United States. In 2022, if conditions allow, we are planning to resume our trade missions in both directions,” clarified USACC.
As the chamber said based on previous experiences, it’s obvious that trade missions are always helpful to bridge businesses from both countries, as well as to introduce new players to the market or enable existing companies to expand their presence in the market.
In terms of future plans with Azerbaijan, the USACC highlighted its plans to expand Azerbaijan’s trade and business connections with individual US state, in particular for the future the state of Washington and the New England region are among the priorities: “as we see increasing business opportunities for parties to take advantage of.”
“Since its inception in 1995, USACC has been a vital resource for American and Azerbaijani companies seeking to establish long-term business ties in both marketplaces. Our membership pool consists of a diverse group of businesses from major sectors of economy, including agriculture, banking & finance, hospitality and high technologies,” he said, adding that USACC’s facilitative role between the US and Azerbaijan is way larger than bridging business community members. Expanding educational linkages and enhancing people-to-people connections between the two nations are among its priorities.
