US Embassy to hold a container auction

Baku. 30 April. REPORT/AZ US Embassy in Baku, Azerbaijan will hold a sealed-bid auction sale of a 20 foot container on May 1, 2018. Bids will be accepted from 11:00 to up 14:00. The participants will be able to place the bid only during this time frame. The bid box will be placed in front of the US Embassy Baku main entrance at 111, Azadlig Avenue. There is no minimum bid. The container was manufactured by Tianjin Pacific Container Company in 2016 and will be sold as is and without any warranty. The photos of the container will be available at the bid box during auction.

Report was informed by the US Embassy in Baku. 

The winner is responsible for the payment of all duties and taxes if necessary including collection of container from the US Embassy compound. Successful bidder must pay immediately in cash with Azerbaijani Manat. If successful bidder refuses to pay the purchase price, he/she may lose the right to participate in the current auction and future auctions. Successful bidder must present a valid ID with photograph at a time of payment. Payment without ID will not be accepted.

US Embassy reserves the right to remove the item from auction. US Embassy reserves the right to reject any bid that is not considered to be commensurate with the value of the property. In the event of a dispute as to the amount of the bid, the item or item number, the US Embassy reserves the right to re-offer the property.
