Azerbaijan and Ukraine have established a joint business association for the first time, the Eastern Europe Bureau of Report informs.

The ‘Terezi’ association will play the role of a single platform for establishing ties between government agencies and entrepreneurs.

The non-profit and non-governmental organization ‘Terezi’ was set up to represent and protect the common interests of law firms, support the development of economic ties between Ukraine and Azerbaijan, create the necessary conditions for interaction between internal participants.

The association’s activities aim to establish export-import relations between Ukraine and Azerbaijan, support in gaining access to the markets of both countries, including support for investment activities. The business association will also protect the interests of its members in relations with government agencies, provide information, legal, organizational and other support to members, ensure the participation of its members in the process of developing regulatory legal acts in the field of economic activity and coordination of actions for the implementation of joint projects.

Two law firms are the founders of the association. Jalal Huseynov has been elected president of the structure.
