Turkish companies seek to embrace Araz Economic Zone

"There are appeals from Turkey regarding the activities in the Araz Economic Zone," Azerbaijani Deputy Economy Minister Niyazi Safarov said at the Investment and Culture Summit in Baku today, Report informs.

According to him, colossal work is underway to establish the Araz Economic Zone: "We are ready for international cooperation."

The deputy minister said that the first resident was registered in Jabrayil: "The foundation of a joint service center of KamAZ OJSC and Ganja Automobile Plant Production Association has been laid. The technical service center will be launched soon."

The foundation of the Araz Valley Economic Zone was laid in the Jabrayil region on October 4.
