The trade turnover between Azerbaijan and Georgia amounted to $184,420,400 in January-February 2019, Report’s Georgian bureau informs citing the National Statistics Office of Georgia.
Azerbaijan’s share in Georgia’s total trade turnover constituted 10.6%, following Turkey and Russia.
Export from Georgia to Azerbaijan grew by 33.7% settling at $58,411,900. Azerbaijan was the second main partner of Georgia accounting for 11.6% of Georgia’s total export, following Russia.
Last month, Georgia imported products worth $126,008,500 from Azerbaijan with its 10.2% in Georgia's total import, down 2.5% in comparison to a year earlier. With this indicator, Azerbaijan followed Turkey and China.
Georgia’s foreign trade turnover amounted to $1,739,800,000, up 3.6% by contrast to a year earlier. Export rose by 13.2% to $505,000,000, and import by 0.1% to $1,234,800,000.
