Toyota suspends car production in Russia

The Japanese automaker Toyota Motor will suspend the production of cars in Russia from Friday, Report informs citing RIA Novosti that this was reported by Nikkei, citing sources familiar with the situation.

"Toyota Motor suspends production of cars in Russia from Friday due to problems with the supply of spare parts from abroad," the report says.

Toyota will also stop exports to Russia. Cars in the country will be sold until the moment their stock runs out.
