Proportion of tobacco exports reduced to a minimum

Baku. 21 December. REPORT.AZ/ In January-November 2015, Azerbaijan imported tobacco and tobacco products in the amount of 278 948.66 thousand USD.

Report informs referring to the State Customs Committee, it is 84 550.48 thousand USD, or 23.26% less than in 2014 year.A s a result, the import of tobacco and tobacco products amounted to 3.40% of the total imports for 11 months in 2015.

During the reporting period, Azerbaijan exported tobacco and manufactured tobacco substitutes in the amount of 2836.94 thousand USD, which is up 25.43% compared with the same period last year.Export of tobacco and manufactured tobacco substitutes amounted to 0.01% of total exports in 2015.
