Production of refrigerators reduced in Azerbaijan

Baku. 28 May. REPORT.AZ/ In January-April of this year, production of household refrigerators decreased by 21.6% to 753 units in Azerbaijan. As a result, to May 1, the stock of finished goods in the country amounted to 968 units.

Report informs referring to the information given by the State Statistics Committee, during this period, in the country were produced 180 residential air conditioners. Thus, to May 1, the stock of finished products in the country reached 2,241 units.

In addition, during the reporting period, in the country were produced 788 television sets, and finished goods inventory at the end of the period increased to 4454 units.

In 2014, production of refrigerators amounted to 3850, air conditioners - 1275, 2013 - 6700, respectively, and 9.4 thousand units. In 2013, the production of television sets was 24,4 thousand units.

In January-April of this year, industrial output by the industrial enterprises and individuals operating in this area, amounted to 8.5 billion manats, which is more by 3.7% in compariosn with the same period of last year.

In the mining industry production made 62.3%, in processing industry - 28.5%, distribution and supply of electricity, gas and steam - 8.3%, water supply, treatment and recycling of waste - 0.9%.
