Positive balance of foreign trade turnover decreased by 4-fold

Baku. 17 January. REPORT.AZ/ During the past year, 186 countries conducted trade operations worth 727 mln USD. 

Report informs referring to the State Customs Committee, the trade turnover declined by 19.46% compared to 2015.

During the reporting period imports decreased by 7,42% annually, exports decreased by 28,17% and amounted to 9 143 280 thousand USD. During the reporting year 7 328 kinds of products imported in country. In this process, the range of exported goods amounted to 2 921 units.

In 2016, there was a positive balance of foreign trade turnover in the amount of 610 832 thousand USD, which is 3.6 times less than in 2015. Thus, the positive balance of foreign trade turnover in 2015 amounted to 2 203 075 thousand USD.
