Positive balance of Azerbaijani foreign trade turnover down by 9-fold

Baku.16 September. REPORT.AZ/ In January-August 2016 foreign trade turnover amounted to 11 330 269,07 thousand USD.

Report informs referring to the State Customs Committee, in comparison with the same period of 2015 the foreign trade turnover decreased by 24,96%

During the reporting period imports decreased by 6,23% in annual comparison and made 5 539 988,10 thousand USD.

Exports decreased by 37,0% and amounted to 5 790 280,97 thousand USD.

In January-August 2016, trade surplus amounted to 250 292,87 thousand USD. In the same period last year, the figure was 2 284 796,77 thousand USD.

Thus, the positive balance in trade turnover decreased by more than 9 times.
