Pakistan offers 5 years economic cooperation plan with Azerbaijan

Baku. 5 December. REPORT.AZ/ “Azerbaijan plans to send an export mission to Pakistan late January, 2017,” said Minister of Economy Shahin Mustafayev at Azerbaijan-Pakistan working meeting in Baku, Report informs.

“Azerbaijan attaches great importance to its relationship with Pakistan. Political, humanitarian relations between the two countries are developing successfully,” the minister said. Mustafayev expressed his confidence that the meeting will contribute to the development of economic relations. 

“We are ready to create all conditions in Azerbaijan for Pakistani companies,” the minister added.

Pakistan`s Commerce Minister Khurram Dastgir Khan emphasized that trade between the two countries falls far short of the existing potential.

“We can create joint ventures in textile, pharmaceutical and agricultural areas. Pakistan offers 5 years economic cooperation plan with Azerbaijan,” the Pakistani minister added.
