The decision of the European Union (EU) to provide 2 billion euros of financial assistance to Azerbaijan creates new opportunities for cooperation, Chairman of the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (SMBDA) under the Economy Ministry of Azerbaijan
According to Orkhan Mammadov, these projects are aimed at supporting the activities of the government by covering the priorities of its economic policy.
“The medium-term strategy for socio-economic development, being developed with the participation of various government departments and stakeholders, includes large-scale reconstruction work in the post-conflict and post-pandemic period, diversification of sources of sustainable growth and a wide range of innovative solutions,” he said
“I hope that the cooperation with the EU, based on positive and mutual interests, will be continued,” Mammadov added.
