Number of taxpayers grows by about 8% in Azerbaijan

As of December 1, 2023, the number of taxpayers registered in Azerbaijan was 1,507,494 (+7.7%), Report informs, citing the State Tax Service under the Ministry of Economy.
According to the data, 87.3% of taxpayers are individuals, and 12.7% are legal entities and other organizations. Over the past year, the number of individuals increased by 7.5%, and the number of legal entities grew by 9%.
