Negative balance in foreign trade turnover of Azerbaijan

Baku. 18 April. REPORT.AZ/ Azerbaijan's foreign trade turnover in the first quarter of 2016 amounted to 3 606 542.05 thousand USD. 

Report informs referring to the State Customs Committee, in the annual comparison, this means a decrease of 37.98%.

During the reporting period, the volume of import operations decreased by 24.9% and amounted to 1 825 922.13 thousand USD, export operations - by 47.38%, amounting to 1 780 619.92 thousand USD.

In general, a negative trade balance in the amount of 45 302.21 thousand USD observed this year.In the first quarter of 2015 positive balance in the amount of 955 237.95 thousand USD observed.
