More than AZN 24B invested in development of regions in 2014-2018

Baku. 29 January. REPORT.AZ/ AZN 24.2 billion was invested in the development of regions within the ‘State Program on socio-economic development of regions of the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2014-2018’, Minister of Economy Shahin Mustafayev said at the conference on the outcomes of the fulfillment of the program.

According to him, a lot of works have been done for support of entrepreneurship, development of startup, micro and small entrepreneurship, producers of agricultural products were exempted from tax. Green corridor mechanism was applied in order to export agrarian products that degrade in a short-period.

The minister also noted that export missions were organized from Azerbaijan to 24 countries. Within these missions, AZN 104.2 million-products were exported, 332 investment promotion documents were given to businessmen.
