Minister: "New opportunities have emerged in the region"

"Liberation of Azerbaijani lands from occupation is a beginning of a new phase for our country," Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov said at the 25th International Business Forum, Report informs.

"There was a war in Karabakh a year ago, but infrastructure projects are already being implemented rapidly. As a result of the victory, new realities and new opportunities have emerged in the region. Along with the economic interests of the region's countries, there are opportunities for the implementation of strategic projects, strengthening the environment of stability, security, integration, and cooperation in the region. Decisions have already been made to establish an industrial park in Agdam and an "Araz Valley Economic Zone" in Jabrayil. These areas will create conditions for the implementation of important projects to realize the economic potential of the region," he added.
