Baku. 28 May. REPORT.AZ/ "Azerbaijan is an important trading partner for Indonesia, especially in energy sector."
Report informs referring to Indonesian media, the Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs of Indonesia Sofyan Jalil said during the event dedicated to celebration of the National Day of Azerbaijan in Jakarta.
The Minister stressed that Indonesia will soon send a delegation to Azerbaijan led by Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources to explore opportunities for expanding energy cooperation.
In turn, the Azerbaijani Ambassador to Indonesia Tamerlan Garayev said that, Azerbaijan is one of the largest suppliers of oil to Indonesia and the second largest trading partner of Indonesia among the CIS countries. T.Garayev said that, the trade turnover between the two countries reached nearly 2.5 billion USD a year.
