Mexican Ambassador discusses prospects for cooperation with Azerbaijani Economy Minister

Azerbaijan and Mexico are interested in developing bilateral economic cooperation, in particular, increasing trade turnover.

Report was informed at the Mexican Embassy in Azerbaijan that this issue was discussed during a meeting between Mexican Ambassador to Azerbaijan Rodrigo Labardini and Economy Minister Shahin Mustafayev.

Ambassador Labardini noted that Azerbaijan and Mexico in 2018 reached a record figure for trade turnover - $ 26 million, expressing confidence that this figure will increase in the near future.

In turn, Mustafayev informed the ambassador about the country's achievements in the field of economy and ongoing reforms to diversify it.
