Japan wants to strengthen cooperation with Azerbaijan in non-oil sector

Baku. 30 May. REPORT.AZ/ "Cooperation in the field of energy and oil is developing with Azerbaijan, but we want to strengthen our cooperation in the non-oil sector".
Parliamentary Vice-Secretary for Economy, Trade and Industry, of Japan, Daisaku Hiraki told Report.
He added that Azerbaijan is located in a very important geopolitical region and its role in the world will continue to grow in the future: "The volumes of production in the North Sea and Alaska regions, which played an important role in the world's energy supply, have dropped recently. I believe that the Caspian region will have a long-term role in future energy supply ".
