The Turkish Competition Authority has launched an investigation into the activities of DSM Group Consulting Communication&Sales Trade Joint Stock Company, which owns the Trendyol trademark.
It is suspected that the online platform does not treat companies wanting to sell goods in the same way and violates competition laws.
Preliminary research has shown that while Trendyol mediates the sale of other companies' products, it gives priority to brands such as TrendyolMilla, TrendyolMan, and TrendyolKids by interfering with software algorithms.
