Gold, silver production dwindles in Azerbaijan

In the first half of 2023, Azerbaijan produced 975.5 kg of gold (29.6% less year-on-year) and 1,841.3 kg of silver (42.5% less YoY), Report informs, citing the country’s State Statistics Committee.

Meanwhile, the production of copper concentrate in Azerbaijan increased by 45.9% YoY and reached 1,856 tons.

As of July 1, 2023, the country has accumulated 101.9 kg of gold and 352.2 kg of silver. Reserves of copper concentrate amounted to 522.3 tons.
