Georgian official hails economic partnership with Azerbaijan

"Azerbaijan is a vital player in the region and a productive economic partner of Georgia," Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia Ekaterine Mikabadze told Report.
According to her, it’s essential to hold business forums between the countries: "Such events help develop the economic cooperation between the countries. The private sector is a driving force for both countries. Cooperation between the private sectors of the two countries is important for the development of economic ties."
The Deputy Minister noted that Georgia and Azerbaijan have great plans that can be implemented through joint efforts: "There is a potential for deepening cooperation in all fields. It benefits both states and nations."
