Georgia's trade turnover with Azerbaijan down by 12%

In January-September 2024, the value of trade turnover between Georgia and Azerbaijan amounted to $956.99 million, 11.7% less compared to the same period last year, Report informs, citing the National Statistics Office of Georgia.
Azerbaijan's share in Georgia's total foreign trade turnover was 5.7%.
During the reporting period, the value of products exported by Georgia to Azerbaijan decreased by 14% compared to a year ago, amounting to $544.266 million (11.4% of total exports), while the value of products imported by Georgia from Azerbaijan decreased by 8.5%, reaching $412.72 million (3.4% of total imports).
Over nine months, the value of Georgia's total foreign trade turnover increased by 3.7% year-on-year, reaching $16.78 billion. The value of exports increased by 4.1% to $4.79 billion, while the value of imports increased by 3.6% to 11.99 billion.
