Georgia is represented by a separate stand at the 15th Azerbaijan International Agricultural Exhibition Caspian Agro in Baku, Report's local bureau informs, citing Georgia's Ministry of Environment Protection and Agriculture.
First Deputy Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture of Georgia Giorgi Khanishvili, Minister of Agriculture of Adjara Giorgi Surmanidze, and Ambassador of this country to Azerbaijan Zurab Pataradze took part in the opening ceremony of the exhibition.
According to Pataradze, important business meetings took place within the framework of the exhibition.
The Caspian Agro exhibition is visited by over 12,000 visitors annually. This year's exhibition is attended by about 450 local and foreign companies involved in agriculture from 24 countries.
The exhibition ends tomorrow.
