FM: Economic cooperation between Azerbaijan and Croatia is developing

“The United States and Azerbaijan are united by a single path - the path of development,” Marija Pejčinović Burić, Chair of the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe said.

Report informs that she spoke at Azerbaijani-Croatian business forum held in Baku.

"Everyone who comes here, becomes a witness to the development of the whole country. We have one way - the way of development. We see and support the development of Azerbaijan," she said.

She stressed that economic cooperation between Azerbaijan and Croatia is developing.

"We signed a document on strategic partnership in 2013. Moreover, we have already signed a document on economic cooperation. The Croatian Chamber of Commerce takes part in today's forum. All spheres of economy and business are presented," the Minister said.

Marija Pejčinović Burić also stressed that an important factor in the development of bilateral economic relations is the governmental support to such initiatives of the business circles.

The Foreign Minister noted that Croatia is an attractive country for investment and the amount of investments in its economy amounted to 32 billion euros in recent years.
