EU seeks to develop trade co-op with Azerbaijan, Ambassador Michalko says

The European Union countries are interested in developing trade cooperation with Azerbaijan, the head of the EU Azerbaijan office, Ambassador Peter Michalko, told a press conference.
"We want to develop trade; we want to see more Azerbaijani goods in the European Union. I hope that the signing of the new agreement will contribute to that," the diplomat said.
He noted that the European Union supports the implementation of various economic initiatives in Azerbaijan, the development of a digital economy, small and middle entrepreneurship, smart city concept, and the development of agriculture.
