Economy Minister: Azerbaijan’s GDP increased by AZN 11B compared to 2019

"The nominal value of Gross Domestic Product (GDP) in Azerbaijan was 93 billion manats in 2021, which is 11 billion manats more than in 2019," said the Economy Minister Mikayil Jabbarov, Report informs.

"In spite of the fact that the GDP dropped in 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic, it recovered, and even increased in 2021 in comparison with 2019," he said.

Moreover, according to the minister, last year the country's GDP per capita exceeded $ 5,452, which is $ 590 more than in 2019.
