EBRD is ready to consider proposal for creation of a free trade zone in Baku port

Baku. 25 May. REPORT.AZ/ The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) is ready to consider the proposal of Azerbaijani side regarding creation of a free trade zone in Baku port.

Report informs, EBRD President Sir Suma Chakrabarti, who is on visit to Baku, said at today's press conference: 'Several months required'.

According to S.Chakrabarti, the bank collects information on economic situation of Elet settlement: 'We have hold relevant discussions with President Ilham Aliyev and Economic Minister Shahin Mustafayev on this issue. I think we should also consider economic side of this financing. Also we should study economic situation in the Elet settlement. Several months required'.
