Baku. 24 February. REPORT.AZ/ Djibouti wants to strengthen economic cooperation with Azerbaijan.
Report informs, Minister for Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Republic of Djibouti Mahamoud Ali Youssouf said in Baku.
"We want to implement projects that will benefit both countries," he said.
Minister noted that Azerbaijan and Djibouti intend to share experiences in development of free economic zones.
Mahmoud Ali Yusuf said that documents on mutual investments and elimination of double taxation expected to sign with Azerbaijan.
Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov said in turn that Azerbaijan regards Djibouti as an important transit country: "Cooperation with Djibouti will create opportunities for Azerbaijan in the context of trade, not only in African countries, but also with the whole world through the ports".
