Cost of Azerbaijan’s metal imports from Türkiye rises by almost 7%

Azerbaijan imported ferrous and non-ferrous metals, valued at almost $76.2 million from Türkiye in the first seven months of 2024, representing a 6.8-percent increase year-on-year, Report informs, citing the Turkish Exporters' Assembly.
In July alone, Türkiye exported metal products worth just over $13.9 million to Azerbaijan, which is 42.1 percent more than a year ago.
Overall, the value of Türkiye's metal exports in the seven months dropped by 4.3 percent year-on-year to $7.167 billion, while in July the exports rose by 12% year-on-year and exceeded $1.1 billion.
