“A strong cooperation has been established between Bulgarian and Azerbaijani companies within a short period," Report informs, Executive Director of the German-Azerbaijani Chamber of Commerce Tobias Baumann said this at an event dedicated to creating synergy between Bulgarian and Azerbaijani wine exporters within the framework of the first EU-Azerbaijani winemaking summit.
He noted that Azerbaijani companies have great potential.
The event was also attended by Executive Director of the Plovdiv Chamber of Commerce and Industry Angel Khronev, who touched upon the cooperation between the countries and also expressed his satisfaction with the wine production in both countries.
Bulgarian Ambassador to Azerbaijan Nikolai Yankov spoke about the history of wine. The presentation and testing of various wines of both countries also took place at the event.
The Wine Summit is a partnership between AHK Azerbaijan and the Plovdiv Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI), funded by the EU4Business initiative of the European Union. The event provides an opportunity to showcase products and brings together trading companies.
